Leading a Faithful Life Pleasing To God

In my post, I include many helpful topics and tips for busy homemakers interested in learning to live according to God’s teachings. This post is about my own personal thoughts and insights that came to mind while reading through my Bible.

Read the Bible verse Luke 11:28 and think of how it may apply to your own life. I have been faithfully trying to read and study the Bible every day for quite awhile. I would read a passage of scripture and then think about how I could apply the knowledge to my everyday life as a mom and a homemaker. I want to continually gain knowledge and wisdom about living a pure Christian lifestyle that is pleasing to God. The best way for me to learn how to stay on a faithful path is to study God’s word.

I wanted to share some of my personal insight from reading the Bible. I will explain the way I incorporate my daily faith into my family life. I might offer a few homemaking tips as I go along with my message here. To make topics very easy to understand, I will highlight the main themes that really resonated with me during many of my scripture readings. My education is in the healthcare field and currently I am a full-time homemaker who enjoys studying God’s word.

I will include how I use faith in my own life. It might be best to start with developing a consistent every day routine to personally communicate to God with the method of your choice. I want to feel like I am developing an ongoing friendship with God. For myself, I always look for the very best resource tools when it comes to learning something new. My own favorite faith tools include the written bible, devotionals, bible apps, bible videos, reading plans, bible studies and online worship services.

Routinely, I enjoy reading written scripture to learn about God’s teachings on how to live a pure Christian life, which is pleasing to God. Even if you are really busy with work and family responsibilities, you can still find a little time to at least read one Bible verse each day. Hopefully, you will meditate about the specific verse and even write in a personal journal on how you may apply that teaching to your own life.

You may really enjoy this quiet time for yourself when you have some extra time in the evenings after your other chores of the day are done. Many moms have an ongoing good habit of tidying up after dinner is done and homework is finished. Busy career moms may routinely start prepping for the next morning by getting clothes ready and lunches packed neatly in the refrigerator ready to go the next day. Some people prefer the morning hours to read scripture and pray. It all depends on your own daily schedule, but it is important to be consistent with your faith studies and praying.

I know some busy moms set their alarm clock one hour earlier before their whole family wakes up so they have some quiet time to reflect on what is important to them, such as reading and journaling. I think this type of daily routine can be a healthy inspiration for us. It gives us structure and something to look forward too. Some people in the field of psychology might even refer to it as positive reinforcement because it is something we truly enjoy each day.

I use a written daily/weekly/monthly planner to write all my important to-do lists. You can even plan ahead your food prep, weekly menus and grocery lists. It is a good feeling of accomplishment when I check off the specific items I get completed throughout the day.

I also enjoy writing down a certain task that I may only need to do once a month, quarterly or yearly. After, I write down my chore to get done, I try to put it out of my worries until that due date. It seems to help me feel less overwhelmed during the different seasonal home maintenance schedules. These things might include car inspections, insurance renewals, routine furnace cleanings, etc. Although, I know I should not worry and trust that God is looking out for me. I should try to fear not and keep the faith.

I think this is a great lead into something else that is essential for living with Christian faith. It is wonderful to read, study and talk about the Bible, but it is even better to be a living example as a great role model by doing good work pleasing to God and keeping all the commandments. You should be ready to answer questions or direct others to helpful resources about your faith.

You can use your God given skills to help others. Your actions could encourage, inspire and motivate people that may be in need of some emotional uplifting. Don’t be lazy. Share your knowledge and skills.

During our current pandemic situation, a nice phone call or kind text message to a friend, senior or neighbor may be appreciated. I believe there are even opportunities for online volunteering. Maybe you could even teach online Sunday school, if you are qualified. Remember to never brag or boast about helping others. Always show kindness, patience and gratitude. Don’t gossip, argue or criticize people.

You may already be a very busy caregiver for elderly parents, homemaker, teacher, or even a nurse helping others with your regular work. Use tools that God made available for all your jobs. Possibly, you may be dealing with a chronic illness yourself and you would appreciate a little extra help from your friends and family at times.

I mentioned so many ways to help others, but now it is time to take good care of yourself! Homemakers and working moms devote and dedicate so much of their time to meal prep, groceries, cooking and cleaning. God wants us to take care of ourselves. Make time for yourself to rest up so you have enough energy to do your everyday responsibilities.

Try to routinely get restorative sleep, good nutrition, relaxation, fresh air, sunshine and exercise. Read books, do hobbies, study, write journals and use planners. You may want to rest on Sunday’s, if possible. Remember to trust God and think of faith instead of fear, anxiety and depression. Keep things in good order leading to the faithful path that Gods wants you to take for a healthy Christian life!

Many Blessings To You!

As I mentioned earlier, I am faithfully trying to read bible scripture daily for inspiration, faith, hope and peace. I especially enjoy s
tudying individual bible verses and apply them to the meaning in my personal life. I will try to add some inspiration as much as possible as I share my passion for faith on my blog. I try to consistently pick about thirty minutes or more every evening to meditate on my bible readings. I often write down my scheduled prayer time on my daily planner and look forward to it, especially after a very busy day. It is always very comforting and reassuring.

A Minimalist Lifestyle

Learning to be a minimalist may teach you to let go of some things that you no longer use or need, and may be weighing you down in life. This is especially useful when it comes to getting rid of items that remind us of the past.

Be Happy

Although it may not always be easy, it is important to smile. No matter what happens in your day it is important that you take it in stride. Keep in mind that certain challenges in life can make us stronger and that there are people out there who are going through situations worse than yours. You have probably had difficult times that were not that great in the past, but you learned how to cope and deal with those situations. It is not easy struggling with ongoing overwhelm and emotional chronic stress. Learning how to hopefully incorporate some of your favorite enjoyable things into your daily life can help with keeping a positive attitude. For example, you may get enjoyment from reading your bible in the morning or writing in your journal, or even taking a daily morning walk outside or doing yoga. You probably have a few favorite hobbies that truly make you happy.

Learn to Appreciate Each Day

Learning to appreciate each day is a great way of learning how to live in the here and now. Every morning that you open your eyes in bed you should be grateful and think of your blessings. Take a look out of your window or step outside and take a moment to appreciate all of the beautiful creations in nature that your higher power has blessed you with. I really enjoy the natural entertainment from the singing birds in the Spring, along with the adorable rabbits and funny squirrels!

Forgive Past Hurts

It is helpful to try not hold on to anger from the past. Holding onto past resentments is not good for your spirituality. When you forgive someone for past hurts, you need to understand that it is something that is done for you. Release yourself and forgive the past!

Love Your Career

If you desire to be able to be truly happy and live in the here and now, it is important that you find a career that makes you feel like you are fulfilling a purpose. Becoming lost in an endless routine of waking up dreading to go to work every day can be frustrating for you. If you start to become unhappy with your life it may affect your spirituality. You spend over half of your entire life at work, so it might be a wise idea to find something you enjoy. If you love what you do and have a true passion for your job, it may not even feel like work to you!

Stop Worrying

It will be difficult for you to establish a good connection with your higher power or live in the here and now if you do not learn how to stop worrying. You need to stop stressing yourself out all of the time and begin putting more faith in your higher power. Hopefully, this may alleviate some of your stress and help you to grow in faith!

What is Praying?

Praying is essentially the time when people spend being aware of the presence of God. It is also a way to know and love God more every time. Ideally, the purpose of prayer is to establish connection with God. If you can see praying as a priority and responsibility like you do when you’re working your daily activities, then you will be on your way to successfully living with daily faith.

Best Time to Pray

There is no best or perfect time when praying. You can pray anytime of the day or throughout your day. However, although you can pray any time, there are things that you need to keep. You should praise God for providing care and for teaching and showing you His will and grace.

Thanking God is also essential when praying. Another thing that you need to keep in mind when praying is to confess your sins and failures. Asking for forgiveness from Him is the next thing you need to consider.

Importance of Prayers

Prayers can be challenging for some people. They think that they don’t need prayers if they already have knowledge about Christ and what He has taught everyone, especially when it comes to faith and spreading love.

Although it is given that almost everyone has already a depth understanding about Christ and His teachings, prayers can make an dramatic difference in your daily life.

You have to take note that being a faith-oriented Christian is a life-long ongoing process. So, this just means that you need the most powerful tool to overcome all your difficulties and this is through prayers. Prayers are considered as an exceptional reality that can transform or change one’s life. The inventor of prayers is God. Prayers are rock-solid reality in which God provided to people in order for them to communicate to Him. Every book in the Bible has a prayer. Prayer forms a foundational element of the life of the believer. Without prayers, it may result in confusion, lack of peacefulness, anger or even a sin.

If anyone is questioning the essence of prayers, then think about the significance why Jesus Christ placed upon prayers.  In the gospels, it is repeatedly mentioned that Jesus goes to a private place to pray. He also spent the entire night to pray and encourage His disciples to pray.

Prayer is a Necessity for Christians

Prayers are vital because everyone needs prayers, especially if you are aiming to become a good faithful Christian. They have the power and ability to change you. No matter what you ask for, your prayers can help you to get answers from God. When praying, you’re asking God for help. Prayers also give you a means to praise God, thank God, and worship God. Beyond those, prayers can be the only means of talking to God. These are also the words to God.

Humanity Requires Prayers

Prayers are essential because humanity needs it. Prayers are not just for yourself. You must also pray for other people. Although others pray every day, they also need prayers from other people. The homeless ones need prayers for their shelter.

Those people who are starving also need your prayers for food. The sick people also need prayers for them to heal. For peacefulness, the struggling ones need your prayers. Prayer can have the power to change the world. That is why it is so important!

Helpful Tools For Faithful Christians

Being a faithful Christian person is not an easy job. But, fortunately, there are tools that you can use to help produce good habits. These tools will be the things that will guide and help you achieve your goals.

Tools Unleashed

Actually, there are a lot of tools that you can use while building your Christian faith. Any tool can work for everyone. But, sometimes, it depends on one’s preferences and perspective in life. Here are the tools that you can make use of:

Prayer- Prayer is the most vital tool that you need to consider no matter what. With prayers, you can pray to get the answers that you need or for better insight to solve your problems. Prayers are a way of asking for the help of God. Since it is also a means of communication to God, prayers can help you while you are building your faith as a Christian. Your prayers do not need to be long or complicated. They can be sincere simple and individual for your needs.

Meditation- Many people have already considered daily meditations after reading daily Bible verses or scripture. This tool is an ideal one especially for those who want to experience enlightenment in a peaceful place. If you don’t have the time to do complete bible studies about religion, consistent quick meditations on daily Bible verses or reading one devotion each day can be a great alternative. In this day and age, there are so many wonderful Bible apps available for this purpose and to be able to read the Bible on the go!

Love- Remember to incorporate love, encouragement, friendship, worship and forgiveness into your Christian lifestyle.

Faith- Not all believers have faith. Some even forget about faith because they have had a hard life to endure with much stress suffering. Some people wait to turn to God when they encounter an overwhelming crisis or uncomfortable transition in their life, such as a major health issue, loss of job or divorce.  You should never ignore your faith. It may be very comforting to have a few friends that share your interest in faith.

Religious Books and Resources- There are so many great reading resources that you can consider in addition to your Bible, including devotionals, religious study guides, apps, online groups, videos, webinars, podcasts and much more. There are also trained Christian counselors and very knowledgeable pastors. Although religious books are authored by other people, it does not mean that you won’t get what you need in order for you to stay on the track that will lead you to continue learning and enlighten you about your Christian life.

Bible- If you want to know more about Christ and His teachings, the Bible is the best and highly recommended tool that you can use. With the Bible, you will not just be aware of His teachings, but also you will be able to learn the things that you must keep in mind as a faithful dedicated Christian. The Bible has everything you need. Whether you want to know about the life of Jesus Christ or how He was anointed, you will get your needed information.

However, when reading the Bible, don’t consider it as a novel or an ordinary book because it is different and it is a Holy book that one must take care of. If it is your first time to read Bible, the best way to start is to pray. There are cases that some people don’t understand the teachings of Jesus Christ because they don’t read with sincerity. If you want to read and understand effectively, it is best to seek for a place where you can focus and have peace of mind.

What is The Best Tool for You?

Anyone has the freedom to choose one among the different tools in their Christian life. No matter what you want to aim, you can consider any of the tools mentioned. However, make sure that your chosen tool does fit your needs and you will be comfortable to work with it. Since each and everyone have their own preferences, any tool can be ideal. So, there is nothing to worry about as your chosen tool can always lead you to the world of Christ effectively.
